The Jungle Book
Performs Nov. 1 - 3, 2019
A jungle of animals come to life in this comedic and imaginative story. The production begins when a young, abandoned child (named Mowgli) is taken in by a local tribe of wolves. There's only one problem. Shere-Kahn (the tiger) is trying to take over the animal kingdom by making all the jungle animals act like tigers! Mowgli, with the help of his friends Bagheera (the panther), Baloo (the bear) and Kaa (the snake) set out to defeat Shere-Kahn and bring balance back to the jungle. After living his whole child-hood acting like a wolf, Mowgli learns that the most important person he can be is - himself!

What to Expect when Attending a CCT Show: Intergenerational CCT productions (like The Jungle Book) feature large casts of actors with a wide range of theater experience, from young actors who are on stage for the very first time, to experienced actors who perform professionally in and around the Twin Cities area. CCT productions feature high quality, artistic costumes and set pieces that are have been consistently acquired over the past decade with new additions specially designed for each production. All actors are fully costumes and sets consist of more than simply backdrops.
When attending a Children's Castle Theater production, we ask audience members to adhere to the following tips and guidelines;
Know where your seats are located. CCT can NOT look up your ticket order or seat numbers at the performance venue.
Arrive early. Most CCT productions are performed at venues where parking may be a 5-7 minute walk from the parking space into the venue. Plan to arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for parking, entering and restroom use.
Bring cash. CCT sells concession items prior to show start as well as during intermission. CCT CAN run cards, but a service charge must be added and the technology can break-down on occasion.
Be respectful. Plan ahead to prevent leaving the show for restroom breaks with little ones. If you must exit, wait until a scene break to head back to your seats or find a spot to sit in the back of the auditorium where your entrance won't be a distraction to others.
If you have questions, email , if you email the week of performances, there is a chance we may not be able to respond prior to the show you are attending, but we will do our best.
